- Email address used to create or access an account.
- Information received from Google when you choose Continue with Google, limited to information needed for authentication/account creation based on the permissions actually configured.
- Email sign-in uses a one-time verification code (OTP), not a conventional password-login flow.
1.2 Optional profile information

- Profile photograph.
- Mobile number.

Verification information is used for internal review and approval and is not automatically public.
1.4 Content and directory information
Authorized users may submit civic information, public statements, business listings, descriptions, contact details, offers and other permitted content. Some content may be public. Business owners choose whether to display their phone number publicly. Emergency contact information may be displayed where supplied by the relevant authority/department.
1.5 Analytics and technical information
Zungal uses Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics and Google Play Console analytics. Exact data categories depend on the production SDKs and configuration. Before each Play submission, Zungal must review its SDKs and ensure Data Safety disclosures match actual collection/sharing.

3. How Information May Be Shared
Zungal does not sell personal information merely because it is collected through the Services. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate hosting, database, storage, authentication and analytics; disclosed to authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary for serious safety/security matters; or shared at the user's direction where applicable.
Private verification information is not automatically published as directory information.
4. Public Information
Business listings, public announcements, public statements, department information and authority-supplied emergency contacts may be visible to other users or the public. Users should not put sensitive personal information into public fields.
5. Location
For ordinary profile use, Zungal currently allows users to select a locality from a predefined list. Zungal does not currently use GPS/device location tracking for this profile-location selection. If location tracking is introduced, disclosures will be updated before use.
6. Storage and Security
Zungal uses Supabase/PostgreSQL for backend database functionality and Supabase Storage for certain files, including verification photographs. Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Retention and Deletion
Zungal intends to delete information associated with an account when deletion is completed, except information that must or may lawfully be retained for legal compliance, fraud/security prevention, dispute resolution or establishment/exercise/defense of legal claims. Retention periods vary by purpose.
8. Account Deletion
Users can request account deletion in the app and through the external web resource: https://zungal.com/delete-account.
Deletion is intended to remove the account and associated data, subject to lawful retention exceptions. The external page must be publicly accessible and functional before being relied upon for Google Play compliance.
9. Children's Privacy
Zungal is a general information/community platform and is not intentionally designed specifically for children. Zungal does not knowingly request unnecessary personal information from children. Actual age targeting, content rating and Play Console declarations must match the production product.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Zungal may use third-party authentication, analytics, hosting, storage and other infrastructure. Third parties may process information under their own terms. Zungal must review third-party SDK practices and reflect applicable collection/sharing in Google Play Data Safety disclosures.
